History

History: Sephiroth got this weapon while he was part of the group called Soldier and employed by Shin-ra. The sword is named after a famed swordsmith. At 61 inches it is just over five feet in length and has a curved blade. It is a type of Katana called a Nodachi. Sephiroth became famous as did his massive sword. He was the greatest fighter in Soldier before leaving it. He would have no other weapon as this sword is sort of his trademark along with his waist length silver hair. Because Sephiroth is as skilled with magic as he is with his Masamune. Without it he would just be an obscenely pale and silver haired guy extremely skilled in Magic. Therefore not as cool.
